Knowledge and language are our citizen counter-strategy to corporate tactics.

Anonymous tips from people who work INSIDE the debt industry are welcome. Lingo and names of strategies corporations run are a #1 interest. Please tell us what words to use, how to talk and what to say to get what we want done.

Please send TIPS on any article, legislation or counter-strategy to above email address.

You can also establish an anonymous identity here (see below), on this site, and contact anyone posting at Creditland via the Creditland internal mail.

All Creditland services are free and Creditland is not affiliated with any corporate money or entity. The best this project will be is making a living for a few people.

Disclaimer regarding Slander and Identity: Creditland prefers anonymous information and erase any trace of identifiable personal information from your question, comment or observation - unless you specifically request your identity be included.

Alias, Please

Unless you are a professional writer who is interested in publishing work totally detached from your personal life (if that is possible), we ask that you please use an alias at Creditland.

Creditland also recommends you get an anonymous email account, if you don't already have one. A secondary account can be very useful when signing up for quotes on mortgages or life insurance.

This will allow you to participate in the community more freely without worrying about this social network kicking you in the ass, the social network way.

Plus, Creditland, LLC understands that, as you are revealing personal information, the less we know about your actual identity, the more we protect ourselves. And you.

We aim to keep everything as anonymous as possible, except major corporations and public figures.

Creditland recommends you use an image of your ride, be it car, train, busline, jet or whatever to use as your profile image.

About Ning Social Networks: Ning is the umbrella hosting site for Creditland. Ning asks for information Creditland would rather not have, such as your birthdate. We recommend you enter April 20 in whatever year suits you as a response to this required field.

If you don't know the Reverend, you don't know how hilarious and totally effective corporate protest can be. I think this guy is responsible for at least one negative blip on the impenetrable U.S. GDP:

'About Creditland' Posted in 'About' Section of Creditland.org

Heads up there is a new section to explain Creditland's mission. A couple of notes: 1) We are NOT selling any financial products. 2) We offer a free forum to discuss the pitfalls of living in the economy. 3) While we may have suggestions, we do not have professional answers.

Creditland is of the opinion we are ALL experts about living in the economy in our own way - we are authorities of our own experience. By sharing these experiences we share knowledge and build a group 'database' if… Continue

Will Lynda.com refund my $25 or not?

I signed up for Lynda.com to learn podcasting and they auto-bill every month in advance...whoo hoo works for Lynda! does not work for me. Last month I thought I might need tutorials so I let them bill me March 13 for the month up until yesterday - I arose this morning to cancel my subscription only to find out: Bingo! I had been billed overnight!

Lynda.com apparently isn't going to wait a damn second to take their money out of my account. So I wrote them the following letter. Let's see… Continue

Dear US Economy,

We call it 'Democratizing Punditry.' Tell me one good reason you can't be a pundit about the economy and I'll give you a Soap Box to yell that reason as loud as you can. You have it in you. I know you do. Anyone with bills can do punditry about the economy and Creditland is here to capture it all....

Are you sick of pundits having exclusive rights over intimacy with the
economy? The economy will do this, the economy will do that, we have hopes for… Continue

Hip Hop Economics

Apr9,10|Athens - Dead Prez playing in town tonight is a wake up to me that hip hop is one of the few contemporary music forms that takes economics seriously.

Dead Prez, from back in my neighborhood in Brooklyn, play tonight in Athens at New Earth Music Hall with Kidz in the Hall - both keyed into economic lyrics....

Back in the MPLS, there were no shortage of social hip hop artists. A common topic of Atmosphere includes getting by on service industry wages. Also on the Rhymesay… Continue
